The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) took the Child online protection (COP) training of trainers to Mzuzu on the 22nd of November.
In her opening remarks, MACRA’s Broadcasting Manager Matilda Kanjeri emphasized the need for every individual to protect children and young adults from any form of online exploitation.
The training attracted participants from Malawi Human Rights Commission, Mzuzu University and other representatives from other reputable organizations .
This was the second training out of the three that were organized by MACRA in conjunction with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
